The 2017 StarCraft II StarLeague Season 1 is one of the two Korean leagues of the 2017 StarCraft II World Championship Series Korea. Format: - First Stage - Two round-robin groups of five players each. - All matches best-of-three. - Top three players from each group advance to Challenge: Second Stage. - Bottom two players are eliminated from SSL and must re- qualify. - Prize money: - Each series awards ₩300,000 (≈$265) ₩200,000 (≈$175) for the winner, ₩100,000 (≈$90) for the loser. - Second Stage - Single round-robin group of 6 players. - All matches best-of-five. - First place advances directly to Premier for Season 2. - Second and third place advance to Fast Lane: Day One. - Fourth place advances to Fast Lane: Day Two. - Fifth and sixth place are eliminated from SSL and must re- qualify. - Prize money: - Each series awards ₩500,000 (≈$440) ₩300,000 (≈$265) for the winner, ₩200,000 (≈$175) for the loser.
