It has been announced that Won “PartinG” Lee Sak joined Zenith of Origin, a Chinese team whose colours are defended by some of the top names within the StarCraft II scene.?
Esports Heaven have reported that Won “PartinG” Lee Sak has joined Zenith of Origin. Zenith of Origin is a Chinese team known as a home for some of the top StarCraft II players, such as Huang “TooDming” Huiming and Zhai “Zycart” Yichen.
Won “PartinG” Lee Sak was previously seen playing for a Taiwanese team, Yoe Flash Wolves, where he had a very successful year, finishing first at HomeStory Cup X and 2015 DreamHack Open: Tours, and being a runner up at 2015 Global StarCraft II League Season 1, IEM Season X - Shenzhen and DreamHack ROCCAT LotV Championship.
The Korean player is known as someone who follows his own ideals, which shows from his actions in the past, where he declined to extend his contract with SK Telecom T1, that were offering him a significantly larger salary than his new team back then, Team StarTale. PartinG justified this with the need for freedom. He felt that the KeSPA system didn't allow him to act as he wanted and the strict rules weren't really something that appealed to him. The most recent move with him joining Zenith of Origin, comes with no surprise and we will have to see how it turns out for him.
