Hours ago, Take and his crew announced the last mysterious player for the eight edition of HomeStory Cup - the former EG Zerg Stephano who retired this August after WCS Europe Season 2.
Known for his natural talent of the game and multiple championships in Europe and North America, Stephano became one of the most notable representatives of the foreign scene during his three-year-long career. By the start of 2013, the Frenchman's achievement list include four gold medals from IPL 3, ESWC '12, NASL 3 and WCS Europe 12 and six more runner-up or top four finishes at other premier events.
The launch of Heart of the Swarm didn't find Stephano in his best shape and several disappointing runs followed before the EG Zerg could finally finish high in a tournament, grabbing the silver of WCS Europe Season 1. With the start of the second WCS Europe Season, Stephano hinted that it might be his last and after his Ro16 elimination he did indeed say his goodbyes to the StarCraft 2 scene.
Last night, HomeStory announced that the legendary Frenchman will be the last participant of the tournament. Stephano will join Group F alongside ToD, Incontrol, Leenock and Stephano.
