Grubby vs Bunny @ Newkirk Precinct
A smashing early bio pressure with outstanding medivac control and unit sniping by Bunny puts Grubby into a massive disadvantage. The Terran is quicker with his third base and his punches keep coming as his bio army makes sure that it's everywhere, killing whatever it can to keep the Dutchman pinned down.
However, Grubby, as a true champion does, stays in the game for long enough to find flaws in Bunny's play. A critical positioning error sandwiches Bunny between storms and colossus fire and the Dane loses his supply advantage in a blink of an eye. Storm and zealot drops further weaken him by razing his economy and at the 27th minute, Grubby finally gets the comeback he's been fighting for the whole game.
[Group G] Vortix 2:1 ForGG - Now that hellbats aren't as cool, ForGG switches exclusively to an aggressive, even reckless, bio/mine composition. Although this does win him the middle set, the inability to secure a three base economy ultimately speaks ForGG's end against Vortix's hordes. - VOD
[Group G] Vortix 2:1 Grubby - Vortix takes game one after a standard, rich on ultra/hydra ZvP only to allow a tie after Grubby cannon rushes him on the next map. The Dutchman enters game three with a 6-gate all-in which, to his bad luck, is scouted just in time to allow Vortix to roach up and push the Protoss back for the winners match. - VOD
[Group G] ForGG 2:0 Bunny - ForGG plays TvT so naturally the match is over in twenty minutes. The killing blow: a ForGG-esque "a couple of everything" composition to stop Bunny's marine/tank push in game one and a straight-on marine/hellion attack-move timing in game two. - VOD
[Group G] Grubby 2:1 ForGG - ForGG takes the first game in overwhelming manner but Grubby is nimble on the comeback. A contain on ForGG's natural combined with prism drops gives Grubby enough edge to tie it and then bring it to 2-1 after barging in on ForGG's 2-base play with a 3-base storm/arhon timing. - VOD
[Group H] Titan 2:1 Happy - After two standard PvT tug-of-wars, both players are tied and the decider on Newkirk Precinct upon them. The first minutes are good for Happy as a e-bay block at the natural of TItan forces him to expands towards the Terran. Then all of a sudden, Happy decides that giving away four full medivacs for zero damage is worth it and Titan wins it without doing anything in particular. - VOD
[Group H] SorOf 2:0 ToD - We can sugercoat this game and say how SortOf displayed playstyle diversity by going for a 1-base speedling in game one and sprinting to three hatches in game two. At the end of the day, though, it was mostly about ToD dying to varying amount of roaches. - VOD
[Group H] Titan 2:1 SortOf - In his second game for the day, SorOf mixes in hydras to his roach cannon fodder but he manages to pull it off in the middle game only, right before Titan's archon/immortal/phoenix push on Planet S takes his life. - VOD
[Group H] Happy 2:1 ToD - A simple proxy oracle into immortal/archon push puts ToD way ahead in game one and the Frenchman takes the early lead. This is where Happy's medivads come to his aid, allowing him to circumvent ToD's contain in game two and elevate the majority of his marine force into the Protoss main in game three to bring it back around 2-1. - VOD
[Group H] Happy 2:0 SortOf - SortOf goes for explosive aggression, opting to end it quickly, but neither his ling/baneling bust on Planet S nor his roach/baneling st?rm on Bel'Shir Beach end up working as Happy's way on point with his defense. - VOD

- Interview with BabyKnight: "One of the reasons why people whine about balance is that it's easier for them to stay motivated. Being hard on oneself can be quite demotivating in the long run."
