Sponsor: The Pinnacle Cup Champion Prediction (the "Game") is sponsored by Gosu Media, 52, St Christopher Street, Valletta, Malta VLT 1462 (the “Sponsor”).
Description: The Pinnacle Cup II CS:GO Quiz Contest ("Game") is devised as a non-gambling promotion and is intended solely for entertainment purposes. The Game is based on the 2021 The Pinnacle Cup II CS:GO and each Entrant is allowed to take one (1) quiz attempt only. Prizes will be awarded to Entrants who have the correct answers to all five of the the ‘Pinnacle Cup II CS:GO Quiz Contest’ questions. Each Entrant shall strictly be entitled to one (1) entry and any multiple entries made by the Entrant by any means whatsoever shall automatically disqualify the said Entrant for the Game.
Eligibility: The Game is open to all who are eighteen (18) years of age or older (or of the legal age of majority in their state/province/territory of residence, whichever is older) as of the date of entry into the Game (each, an “Entrant”). Employees, officers, directors, agents and representatives of Gosu Media, Pinnacle Cup Organizer, Grid esports GmbH and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, governors, owners, distributors, retailers, agents, advertising/promotion agencies (hereafter collectively, “Excluded Parties”), and each such individual’s immediate family members (mother, father, sister, brother, child, husband, wife and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate in the Game or receive a prize. Void where prohibited by law. Subject to all applicable national, federal, state and local laws.
Game Period: The Game is scheduled to start no later than 11:00:00AM Central European Time (“CET”) on June 27, 2021. The Game is scheduled to end at 11:59:00PM CET on July 15, 2021 (“Game Period”).
To Participate: (1) To participate, during the Game Period visit <https://www.gosugamers.net/contests/1-pinnacle-cup-ii-csgo> (“website”) and click on the banners, buttons and/or links to access the Game registration page. Participation is free. To participate, you have to create an account. As part of the registration process, you will be asked if you wish to receive promotional emails from the GosuGamers and your agreement to the same shall solely based on your own volition and discretion. Such Agreement is not a pre-requisite for you to sign up or participate in this Game, and shall not in any manner whatsoever affect the chances of your winning. All information and details provided by the Entrants must be current, accurate and authentic. Each Entrant shall be entitled and restricted to one (1) registration. Any multiple registration by the Entrants by any means whatsoever shall automatically be nullified and deemed as void and the Entrants will be automatically disqualified. The use of script, macro or any other device to automate or subvert the registration process is prohibited and all such registrations will be void. Registration form submissions will be accepted throughout the Game Period, in accordance with the terms of these Official Rules.
To participate, you must complete and submit the Game Registration form according to the instructions provided. As part of the registration process, you may be asked if you wish to receive promotional emails from GosuGamers. Consenting to receive promotional emails is optional and is not required for sign up or participation in this Game, and will not impact your chances of winning. Entrants are responsible for ensuring that all contact information is up-todate and accurate.
(2) Limit one (1) Game User Registration form submission per person and per GosuGamers account and/or Steam account for the duration of the Game Period. Additional registration forms received from any such person or email address after the first registration form received from that person or email address will be void. The use of script, macro or any other device to automate or subvert the registration process is prohibited and all such registrations will be void. Registration form submissions will be accepted throughout the Game Period, in accordance with the terms of these Official Rules.
Excluded Parties are not responsible for lost, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled, late, delayed, undelivered or misdirected entries, registrations, predictions or submissions; theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, registrations, predictions or submissions; failures or malfunctions of phones, phone lines or telephone systems; interrupted or unavailable network, server, cable, satellite, Internet Service Provider (ISP), or other connections; any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in any transmission or communication; traffic congestion on the Internet or for any technical problem, including but not limited to any injury or damage to Entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in this Game; errors in these Official Rules, in any Game-related advertisements or other materials; the administration of the Game or selection or announcement of winner or the distribution of prizes; the tabulating of points, the cancellation, suspension or preemption of any games, or other unavailability of players, scoring tabulations or timing errors or other problems or errors of any kind whether mechanical, human, electronic, typographical, printing or otherwise. Entrants are responsible for any charges of online service providers or wireless carriers. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void any entries of entrants whom Sponsor believes have attempted to tamper with or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this Game or is in violation of these Official Rules.
The winner of the Game shall be determined and selected at the end of the Game based on the first ten (10) Entrants to have submitted all the correct answers to the quiz contest; If ten (10) winners cannot be determined in this manner, (a), a raffle and random draw will be carried out and only ten (10) grand winners will be selected and entitled for the prizes (“Grand Winner”).
Winner Selection/ Notification: (10) winners will be selected in the manner as provided above. The winners will be notified on or about August 1, 2021 by e-mail. Entrants are solely responsible for checking their e-mail inboxes to find out whether they are the Grand Winner. The winners will be receiving his/her respective prize via email within 6-8 weeks upon being notified of his/her winning. If any prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable and the Sponsor is unable to reach the Grand Winner, or if the Grand Winner is found to have breached any of the Official Rules or terms herein, the Sponsor reserves the rights to nullify and disqualify the Grand Winner and to substitute with other winning Entrant next in line who shall be determined in accordance to the manner expressly provided above at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. The tabulation of answers and identification of potential winners will be conducted by judges whose decisions along with Sponsor’s are final and binding with respect to these Official Rules and in all other matters relating to this Game. Prizes will be awarded to the person named on the applicable Game registration form regardless of whether that is the authorized account holder of the email address from which said registration form was submitted (subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms of these Official Rules). In the event that the Pinnacle Cup II CS:GO is canceled, suspended (and not resumed) or preempted (and not resumed) for any reason during the Game Period the prize as outlined below will be awarded based on points accumulated for those games that occur as scheduled.
Prizes:
One (1) Grand Prize: One (1) € 500 Steam Voucher (Approximate Retail Value “ARV”= 500 European Dollars “EUROS”).
Two (2) Second Runner-up Prizes: One (1) € 300 Steam Voucher (Approximate Retail Value “ARV”= 300 European Dollars “EUROS”).
Seven (7) Consolation Prizes: One (1) € 100 Steam Voucher (Approximate Retail Value “ARV”= 100 European Dollars “EUROS”).
Gift Codes are subject to certain terms and conditions as specified by the Gift Code issuer. Costs and expenses associated with the acceptance and use of prizes not specified herein as being awarded, including, but not limited to, any taxes are each winner’s sole responsibility. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. All Prizes subject to manufacturer’s standard warranty.
Miscellaneous: By playing the Game, each participant accepts and agrees to accept and be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. No transfer, assignment, cash redemption, or substitution of a prize (or portion thereof) is permitted except by Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value as determined by Sponsor. All federal, state, and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes) and all other costs and expenses associated with acceptance and use of a prize not specified herein as being awarded are winners’ sole responsibility. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Except where prohibited by law, a prize winner's acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the Excluded Parties to use that prize winner's name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice, and address (city and state) worldwide and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without further compensation. Prize winners agree to Excluded Parties’ use of their names and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. The Excluded Parties and their parents, affiliated and subsidiary companies and advertising and promotion agencies are not responsible for lost, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled, late, delayed, undelivered or misdirected downloads, installations, registrations, usernames, Game points, Pinnacle Cup team selections or revisions; theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, Pinnacle Cup team/number of game; failures or malfunctions of phones/mobile devices (including wireless phones/handsets or other wireless devices), phone lines or telephone systems; interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in any transmission or communication; traffic congestion on the Internet or for any technical problem, including, but not limited to, any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer or mobile device related to or resulting from participation in this Game; errors or ambiguity in these Official Rules, in any Game-related advertisements or other materials; the selection or announcement of potential winners or the distribution of prizes; the cancellation, suspension or preemption of Pinnacle Cup games, scoring tabulation or timing errors or other problems or errors of any kind whether mechanical, human, electronic, typographical, printing or otherwise. By entering, each participant agrees that the Excluded Parties and their parents, affiliated and subsidiary companies and advertising and promotion agencies shall have no liability and will be held harmless by participant for any claim, action, liability, loss, injury or damage (1) to participant or any other person or entity, including, without limitation, personal injury or death to participant or any other person or damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize and any travel or travel-related activity thereto or participation in this Game, and (2) any and all taxes and other fees applicable to the prizes received by the prize winners. The Excluded Parties, in their sole discretion, reserve the right to: 1) disqualify any person (and void his/her entry) who tampers with the submission process, the operation of the Game, or any other component of this Game, or who is otherwise in violation of these Official Rules; and 2) modify, suspend or terminate this Game (or any portion thereof) should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes, including but not limited to war, strikes, health crisis, epidemic, pandemic, civil disturbances, work stoppage, and/or acts of God, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this Game. The Excluded Parties reserve the right to halt or modify the Game at any time during the Game Period if events beyond its control compromise the Game’s fairness or integrity.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GAME IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, EXCLUDED PARTIES RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK ANY AND ALL REMEDIES AVAILABLE FROM ANY SUCH PARTICIPANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
The Excluded Parties reserve the right to modify these rules for clarification purposes without materially affecting the Official Rules of the Game. This is a Game designed to increase consumer awareness of and interest in the Excluded Parties’ service.
This Game may not be used for any form of gambling. Any entry or transaction that is incomplete, late, or does not include a validly issued Pinnacle Cup II CS:GO Quiz Contest account or username will be disqualified. In the event that the Game is challenged by any legal or regulatory authority, Excluded Parties reserve the right to discontinue or modify the Game, or to disqualify participants residing in the affected geographic areas. In such an event, the Sponsor shall have no liability to any participants who are disqualified due to such an action. In the event of any ambiguity(s) or error(s) in these Official Rules, the Excluded Parties reserve the right to modify these Official Rules for clarification purposes or to correct any such ambiguity or error(s) without materially affecting the Official Rules of the Game.
Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties: IN NO EVENT WILL THE EXCLUDED PARTIES AND/OR THEIR PARENTS, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES AND RELATED COMPANIES, THEIR ADVERTISING OR PROMOTION AGENCIES OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS, BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE SERVICE AND/OR THE GAME, DOWNLOADING FROM AND/OR PRINTING MATERIAL DOWNLOADED FROM THE SERVICE. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE EXCLUDED PARTIES’ TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES, LOSSES, OR CAUSES OF ACTION EXCEED $100. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, EVERYTHING ON THE GAME AND THE SERVICE INCLUDING THE PRIZES IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NONINFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. Privacy: The Excluded Parties collect personal data from participants when they play the Game. This information becomes the property of the Excluded Parties and may be combined with other information that you have submitted to them. Personal data collected from the website is subject to the Gosu Media privacy policy located at https://www.gosugamers.net/privacy and will be handled consistent with that policy and subject to any specific privacy choices communicated to Gosu Media. Personal information may also be disclosed to third parties solely to administer the Game and award Game prizes.
