Overwatch Contenders is a competition for pro aspiring players who want to advance to the league. Contenders will take place in seven regions, including the Overwatch League Academy team's home ground. Top teams from each region compete through two seasons a year. Each season includes the Contenders Trial, Contenders Single Elimination Tournament and Seasonal Playoffs.
