After four consecutive losses, EG-TL finally see the silver lining of victory as they take a 4-3 beating to Proleague's leaders Woongjin Stars.

Playing their first Round 4 match against the undisputed Proleague leaders couldn't have been more difficult for EG-TL. Coming from a 20-3 win streak in Round 3, Woongjin Stars were ready to sink EG-TL deeper into the ground, their new coach and new players included.

The match started well for the joint roster as Oz took game one after a long and tense PvP but HuK and JYP could not follow up appropriately and the score swung into Stars' favor.

Jaedong's clutch defense against Aria's Prism/Core/Gateway timing attack and his Mutalisk counter attack tied the score once again and gave EG-TL a room to breathe but the equilibrium was very short-lived. At the 12th minute, Soulkey rallied his Ling/Hydra/Corruptor army and drowned HerO in units.

In game six, Alive's Bio/Mine fought long and hard against ZerO's Ling/Bane/Mutalisk and after 26 minutes of action and one very diligent assault on Zerg's third, EG-TL were again tied with the leaders. An ace match was to be played.

Jaedong and Soulkey spawned on Planet S and luckily for EG-TL, the Tyrant was in full control. Denying Soulkey's third times and times again allowed JD to set up a stronger economy and win the gas war as a result, overwhelming the enemy Mutalisks for the 4-3.

Similarly to EG-TL, Team 8 were coming from a long losing streak which included being all killed by CJ Entus themselves and the team under Argo's captainship was looking forward to make something happen.

The series began disastrously for T8. By losing the opening PvTs, KeSPA's team were two sets behind and were to fight on of CJ's best next - Effort.

Somewhat surprisingly, it was Effort himself that onset the losing streak within the series and he, Hydra and SkyHigh all failed to come out ahead. In a big swing, Team 8 were suddenly in the lead.

Despite the heavy losses, CJ picked themselves up as Bong's Colossus/High Templar deathball melted Savage's Hydra/Viper. With the score tied 3-3, another ace match was to be played today. After another half an hour of PvP action, a victor was finally proclaimed as Argo's Archon's shocked out Hero[join]'s Colossi and T8 took revenge on CJ for the 0-4 in Round 3.
