StarTale got a clean 4-0 sweep against tournament underdogs NSHoSeo in today's GSTL match and spearhead the rankings.
A bucketload of Medivac drops brought StarTale the 1-0 lead as Tassadar simply could not keep up with Sound's tempo. Yet while the opening set was very much a ground stomp, the following proved to be a difficult one for the StarTale Terran.
NSHoSeo's second choice was SSanaEE and although the Zerg player had just two televised matches on his account so far, he gave Sound a good run for his money. Using Swarm Host Locusts to negate the mine field of the Terran so he can follow-up with Muta/Infestor attacks, SSanaEE was able to push the game into a late-game base race. It was during those hectic moments that he let the match slip away from his fingers as Marine drops shut the little economy that he had, leading to a strong bio force overwhelming the Swarm Host/Infestor party at Terran's doors.
This TvZ ended up being the hardest one for Sound as neither Salvation nor even Jjakji ever came close to beating the StarTale warrior. A double Hellbat drop vaporized the SCV line of Salvation and a very technical succession of Widow Mine drops, Banshee harass and Marine/Tank frontline attacks and doom drops ended the former GSL champion. Pinning the 4-0, Sound becomes the first player to deliver an all-kill in an official HotS GSTL season.
