Chains Stack stuns For.Love in day two

Rising Stars and Chains Stack has gone through to the Ro8 after pulling off spectacular performance today against MiTH and For.Love. Day three of the second phase will begin tomorrow at 08:00 CET with LGD.int facing off against NeoES.int.

The second day of G-1 Asia started with Thailand's MiTH.Trust going head-to-head with China's RisingStars. Their previous encounter, which was at DotaTalk League, was won by the Thai team. The Chinese team is in much better shape this time though, as they took the series 2-0.

In the first game, MiTH.Trust tried to go with their usual 4-1 strategy, while RisingStars was geared for a strong early-middle game play. The Chinese team did not have an agility hero, and thus were really planning to dominate early.

RisingStars came into the game firing and burst down MiTH's heroes one after another. Having momentum-based heroes in Queen of Pain and Storm Spirit on their side, it became tougher for the Thai team as the game proceeded. At the end, the Chinese team was so far up that both Sand King and Keeper of the Light had a higher net worth than MiTH's Anti-Mage.

In game two, MiTH went with a 'wombo-combo' lineup of Naga Siren, Tidehunter and Queen of Pain. RisingStars had an equally good team fight with heroes such as Magnus, Sand King and Puck. The Thai team completed their lineup with Rubick and Lone Druid while the Chinese team rounded-up with Anti-Mage and Wisp.

The Anti-Mage raced off to a strong start, en route to a massive lead on net worth. He eventually became too big, that MiTH would need to do a perfect initiation to take down the mana-breaking carry without being interrupted by the Magnus. They never found that perfect moment. It didn't take long for Anti-Mage to clean up the hero and Trust's base after. This was the clincher of the series, as RisingStars won in straight games.

For.Love vs Chains Stack

All eyes were on For.Love as they will debut their newly-acquired players in KingJ and Zippo. Chains Stack, however, took everyone's breath away in game one by mounting a huge comeback despite going down 0-3 early in the game.

Chains decided on the long game strat securing the Keeper of the Light and Jakiro behind their Anti-Mage. Chains started the first game with Anti-Mage giving away the First Blood and later on, Jakiro and Rubick going down to several tower dives.

As the game proceeded into mid-game, Chains started finding their spots well and killed off the Magnus in several occassions. Dark Seer, Jakiro, and Dragon Knight was able to secure these kills by spamming their skills in a timely manner to ensure that the Magnus do not Skewer to safety. Slowly and steadily, the key heroes in Chains caught up in farm. It took 40 minutes for Chains to build this momentum and initiated on For.Love outside the Rosh pit. They won the fight and eventually the game shortly after.

Going into the second game, For.Love picked up Chains' game one key heroes, the Anti-Mage and Dragon Knight. A good laning phase translated into a very good farm for the Dragon Knight and the Anti-Mage which provided hard and quick AOE damages. The Phantom Lancer did not had the momentum he so desperately needed to build up his illusions. The Chinese team won team fights after team fights, and they eventually sealed the win with their flawless execution.

Chains came back in the third game more ready than ever. Their Tinker had a good early phase and ended up just rolling over For.Love. For.Love tried to stage a comeback but the mobility of Chains heroes were just too much for For.Love's Luna to handle alone. Chains upset For.Love and proceed on to the Ro8.
