The seventh cycle of the HoN Tour Diamond Division is in the books and Stay Green reigns supreme for the third time - second consecutive time. With that victory sG closes in on the record setting four titles of Trademark eSports.
It was one of the shortest nights in the history of the HoN Tour Diamond Division Grand Finals. For the first time in the history of that division the Grand Finals were a total sweep, for the first time in the history of that division one team claims the title without losing a single map. Stay Green has done, what Trademark eSports attempted to do three times, setting the undefeated milestone.
More important than the fact that Stay Green is the first team in the Diamond Division to sweep the entire division, Stay Green is now also on top of the HoN Tour Rankings. With that they will be in place to get the Top Seed in the upcoming Offline Season 1 Finals of HoN Tour that will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The next Cycle will ultimately determine if the boys from Miami Beach will go visit America's Playground as the Number One team or just on Seed 2. For that to happen Stay Green has to place lower than Trademark eSports. In theory a Trademark eSports victory over their rivals in the Grand Finals would be enough for tdM to take their spot on top again.
Not only the Number One seed is on the line in the next cycle, but also a new milestone could be approached. Stay Green will have the chance to be the first team in the history of HoN Tour to claim three Diamond Division Championships in a row - they can go for the "Threepeat". If they can do it or if Trademark eSports, compLexity Gaming or the other teams can retaliate and challenge the dominant team will be determined in the eighth Cycle of HoN Tour, starting this Saturday.

Due to scheduling issues compLexity Gaming was forced to deliver a quick series - resulting in them conceding twice after the mandatory 15 minutes of play time. Those actions were designed to avoid the forfeit rule, but Admins decided to still punish both teams for their actions. Absolute Legends has received an official warning, while coL loses 50% of their points and prizes, while still receiving an official warning.
