Three days of intense competition are in the books and only two hopeful teams are remaining. compLexity Gaming and Trademark eSports started into the tournament as the favorites, now they meet for the final encounter with a trip to Thailand on the line.
The first match ended very lop-sided with compLexity steamrolling QsQ on both maps. The Europeans around four-time DreamHack Champion NoVa were completely overmatched in the entire game, falling in close to 15 minutes on both maps. Ever since the first GSL Qualifier compLexity has been on the rise with a Semifinal appearance in that tournament and a Grand Final outing in the sixth Cycle of the HoN Tour Diamond Division. Now they are just one single Best-of-Three victory away from booking the tickets to Bangkok, Thailand.
The second game of the day was much tighter and much more contested with Trademark eSports and Tt eSports meeting once again the the Semifinals of the GSL Qualifier. Although Tt eSports went into this fight with a changed roster and Tralfamadore in their midst it still wasn't enough to defeat the four-time Diamond Division Champions of Trademark. The first two matches were very intense and close with big plays coming out from both sides, but in the last deciding match Trademark just brought their A-Game and took control of the game early on.

This will lead to yet another installment of the rivalry between Trademark eSports and compLexity Gaming. The history of those two teams are ranging back more than six month when tdM and coL were competing against each other in every single major Grand Final. First the series was dominated by the North Americans, until the fortune shifted on the big stage of DreamHack. Trademark won that event and also went on to win four Diamond titles while compLexity only made it to three Silver Medals in that regard.
The latest result between these two combatants is going to compLexity though, who were able to defeat their longtime European rivals in the Upper Bracket Final of the latest HoN Tour Cycle, pushing them into the Lower Bracket and securing the Grand Final slot themselves. Will compLexity continue that streak or can Trademark eSports respond and restore the old order? Tomorrow we will know more!
