Only four teams can still dream of flighting to the Garena Star League 2013 event to Bangkok, Thailand. They are the essentially the Top 4 in the world that are left, with Stay Green already having the first spot.
Another day of the GSL Qualifier in the books and still the two favorites of Trademark eSports and compLexity Gaming are in the mix. The two great organizations in HoN left their competition absolutely no chance, determined to go all the way to the GSL event - to compete with the best teams in the world. Trademark finished Pencils with ease, while compLexity Gaming earned a quick sweep against the Danish team of Pikachu.
Following those two giants in the scene are Tt eSports and QsQ. Tt eSports with their new fifth Tralfalmadore gashed on Lions eSports in the top match of the day, crushing the dreams of the Swedish organization to be in contention to win a big LAN event - with their glorious history regarding that. Tt eSports moves on and is looking like a serious competitor with their new pickup and the spirit in the team. Something Tralf pointed out on Facebook yesterday.
QsQ had a much tougher time to reach the semifinals as Afraid was not going down without a fight. The young European team around carry player Jollem was in the lead in Game 1, before making crucial mistakes. They proceeded to win the second map, only to fall just short on the deciding map in a highly entertaining and energizing clash.

Now Tt eSports and Trademark eSports will square off in the semifinals, again. This match already happened in the first GSL Qualifier when Trademark eSports was able to finally avenge that defeat from HoN Tour Diamond Cycle 3 and get that stain off their record. A lot has changed since that though with Tt eSports picking up Tralfamadore and just rolling ever since that.
In the other semifinal compLexity Gaming and QsQ meeting on the battlefields. For one the journey to Thailand will end on the servers of Newerth, for the other the dream is still very much alive. The last time these two rivals met in a meaningful match was back in the Lower Bracket Round 4 of the fourth HoN Tour Cycle. coL won in that clash and is also going into this fight as the favorite. The form curve has trended upwards for compLexity the last couple of days, while QsQ is stagnating at a high level. [
