Trademark and Stay Green to clash for GSL Ticket

HoN Tour Diamond Division had this final a couple of times, now the GSL Qualifier will see that clash as well. The two best teams in the world right now will fight for the opportunity to travel to Bangkok, Thailand and compete for the $60,000 USD.

In the first match the favorites and four-time Diamond Division Champions of Trademark eSports had absolutely no problems against the new roster of Tt eSports. On both maps Trademark made their presence and their dominance felt, avenging the crushing defeat that they suffered at the hands of the American team back in Cycle 3. Tt eSports was actually the only team that didn't ever lost a match against Trademark eSports in the HoN Tour competition. They are still undefeated in HoN Tour competition, but Trademark eSports might not really care about that stat all too much when they might flight to Thailand, representing the NA/EU server region.

The second team in the finals will be Stay Green, who could put away compLexity Gaming after all. The match was actually more contested that expected previously with compLexity flat out dominating Stay Green on the first map - a 15 minute concede. Still Stay Green hung in there and once again proved the reputation of the "Comeback Kings" true. They were able to turn the series and clinch the spot in the finals.

So the Grand Finals of the GSL Qualifier will be the exact same matchup as the HoN Tour Diamond Division witnessed the previous two cycles. Both of those matches were won by Trademark eSports with a map record of 4-3 record in favor of the European squad.

Now these teams are squaring off on equal ground without any team having an advantage from going through the Upper Bracket. Swindlemelonzz hinted that fact before the event even started in his statement of hontour.com that it is going to be tough, but without the 1-0 advantage their chances dramatically increase against the dominant European team.
