The CIS region suffers the same fate as the broad variety of the South East Asian scene and the Latin American scene. The publicity and knowledge about those scenes are limited in the International regions - Garena.CIS is going to change this now.
The best that the CIS region has to offer will go toe-to-toe with some of the current best teams that the NA/EU region can field.
Spear-heading the charge for the CIS region will be the undisputed number one in that region - Cats Gaming. The boys from that team have been a fixture in the HoN scene for quite a while, competing against the top teams of the other regions in the latest edition of the DreamHoN spectacle in Jönköping, Sweden. On top of that the team has also gained popularity with them attending the DreamHoN Online Summer Championship squaring off with teams like Fack You Kurdi, Vitriolic Gaming, Tt eSports, MuFC and their fellow CIS team Team GA.
Still the success didn't really came in that OSC tournament, but flashes of greatness showed at the big stage at the DreamHack Winter when Cats played tough and competitive matches against teams like compLexity Gaming, Orange eSports and Gary Johnson, while winning their serious straight up against the Brazilian rivals of paiN Gaming.
Alongside them are going to be iTS and QaM from Russia and GZ from the Ukraine to fight for the pride and honor of their region. iTS is one of the more recognizable teams that the CIS region has to offer with players linked to Cats Gaming and former members of Team GA, that gained popularity with them attending the first ever edition of the DreamHoN tournament series in the Summer of 2012.
The other two teams have not been around at the top of the CIS region all too long. Still their good placement in the G3-Series January tournament earned them the right and honor to represent their home region in this event.

Still the opposing site that is going to fight for Europe are not to be triffled with. All four chosen teams have HoN Tour Diamond Division experience. QsQ even finished second in the Diamond Division in Cycle 3 after tearing the elite teams of compLexity Gaming, Tt eSports and Trademark eSports apart.
Backing up QsQ to fight for the honor of Europe are One Trick Pony, Team Mistral and Pikachu. OTP and Mist are current members of the Diamond Division with Team Mistral being eliminated from the fifth Cycle already, but One Trick Pony being placed in the Upper Bracket Final after a upset victory over Stay Green last weekend.
Completing the European lineup is Pikachu, who are currently fighting through the Gold Division with the clear target to win Gold and return to Diamond this cycle.
No free pass will be given to the CIS region by these fierce competitors fighting for Europe, but in this epic clash of region and region, only one region and one team will prevail.
