Trademark eSports captures Diamond crown for the third time

In the Gold Division We Are Spies made history by winning the second Gold title as the first team ever, in the Diamond Division Trademark eSports took it even further by winning the third title in the "Champions League" of HoN.

It was 3 AM in Central Europe when the Swedish and Danish players from Trademark eSports did put a strong Stay Green to rest. For more than four hours those teams battled on the face of Newerth to determine which team will lead the standings after the halfway point of the first HoN Tour season. In the end Trademark eSports anchored by captain Mynuts did prevail and took home yet another $4,000 USD paycheck as well as 4,000 points.

Runner-up is Stay Green, who were the champion of Cycle 3, a cycle were they could avoid a direct confrontation with Trademark due to their early exit from the Upper Bracket and ultimately from the tournament. Swindlemelonzz revealed in several interviews that Trademark eSports is the one team he is still afraid off and that stance proved to be the truth. Twice those teams squared off in the fourth cycle and twice tdM took care of business.

While Trademark was successfully able to make the transition from iNsania to Fittske on the support position, Stay Green is faced with the transition from Skyzoe to Chessie in the days leading up to the fifth cycle. Also sLiCKz, KheZu and Chessie are moving to the team house in Miami between the cycles, so Stay Green looks more than equipped to make another run for the title next cycle.

Trademark eSports on the other side looks as strong as ever and is still the gold standard - in this case probably the diamond standard in Heroes of Newerth today.

Completing the podium was Lions eSports for the very first time in their team history. The entire cycle the Swedish team produced excellent plays and was able to take out opponents like compLexity Gaming and Tt eSports on their run to the third place finish. After a surge of success in scrims and a high standing in the latest Honcast Community Rankings everything is moving upwards for the young Swedish squad.
