The first two cycles had the Grand Final of compLexity Gaming against Trademark eSports with Trademark reigning supreme over the Diamond Division, twice. Now that streak is broken as QsQ went on a run to shake the entire scene up - in just one Saturday evening.
The first surprise came in the Lower Bracket Round 3 were QsQ swept compLexity Gaming out of the tournament. The two-time runner-up of the Diamond Division therefore finished the third cycle with only the 5./6. place - the lowest finish in their Hon Tour history. QsQ though wasn't done yet.
Their rampage continued against the reigning and defending Diamond Champion Trademark eSports with yet another clear and decisive 2-0 victory. Trademark eSports thus only took home the fourth place, their lowest finish as well. On the opposite QsQ has played themselves through some adversity in the Hon Tour cycles and is now looking at their strongest finish in the Diamond Division with at least the third place.
Tomorrow at 6 PM EST they will try to extend their miraculous run against the top dogs of the scene, as they will see the Trademark eSports Upper Bracket slayers of Tt eSports in the consolation final for a spot in the Grand Final. In said final Stay Green will patiently await their opponent after yet another successful and good outing in the upper bracket winner's final against Tt eSports. That victory granted them entrance to the big final, with a 1-0 head start into the deciding Best-of-Five series. It is their biggest opportunity to claim that first major title in teams history and gain a ton of points for the HonTour rankings.
