With top collegiate teams fiercely fighting for the top spot, those on top will be flown to South Korea to compete live with thousands of spectators.
Though this isn't the first live broadcasted collegiate tournament to happen as it was at Lonestar Clash, it is most definitely the largest by a significant margin. The CSL (Collegiate Starleague) totes 630 participating universities with over 8,300 players who play weekly online matches for Starcraft 2 and League of Legends.
Earlier this week, we revealed that CSL would be funding four different scholarships totaling $16,000 and we now have numbers of their prize pool totaling around $166,000 total.
The Grand Final will be held at Kintex and the two strongest teams from both titles being granted with an all-expense paid trip to South Korea to compete for 1st place.
