DotaBro is a new website with an in-built ladder system, where people can find equally strong people to play with. The top 16 teams of the ladder get to play in the "Brotournament" to fight it out for $2,000.
The Brotournament will start on the 8th January, at 18:00 CET. It is a single elimination tournament in which teams will play in best-of-ones up until the final, which will be a best-of-three.
The semi-finals and the final will be played out on the 9th January, also 18:00 CET.
The best 16 teams of the current ladder are eligible to participate in the Brotournament. Ranks 17-20 have been notified as back-up teams, in case teams don't participate. The ladder system will not be resetted for Dotabro's second season, which will be announced in January.
Among the participants are known teams such as the Russians el'Pride, XX5, ESWC participant Imaginary Gaming, WCG's third placer iCCup, formerly known as Devil.Mice and a new team under leadership of craNich, former Storm Games Clan captain, named ProfesoriStrelDoHlavy.
