The Diamond Division team Fortune Bakery has attracted an interesting organization to support the growth of the team - Absolute Legends. After compLexity Gaming this is the second big multigaming organization that enters Newerth.
With the recent surge of the Heroes of Newerth competitive environment due to the launch of HonTour, the spectacular tournament series that is DreamHon and other organizations like SoundBlaster hosting HoN tournaments, the scene has become very attractive for sponsors and organizations to get involved in.
compLexity Gaming joined about five month ago, a local LAN cafe sponsored QsQ for the DreamHack appearance and Dignitas shows some interest in Heroes of Newerth again. Now the multigaming organization of Absolute Legends enters Newerth.
Absolute Legends started, as the name would suggest, with League of Legends community site, that later began to grow into a legitimate multigaming organization with current teams in Dota 2, League of Legends and CS:GO, as well as players in Blizzard's RTS phenomenon Starcraft 2. Now the Diamond Division team of Fortune Bakery joins that clan family as their newest member.
Fortune Bakery itself just had a very strong showing in the first cycle of the Diamond Division, with an appearance in the upper bracket semi-finals and a 5th/6th place to finish that tournament. The team consists of three former Clan Milk members with Captain Kookiez, Mookiez and Kreamz, paired up with KingPlato, miesty` and ggslayer - a good core roster with a lot of potential coming in as substitute players.
Absolute Legends Lineup:
Ryan 'Kookiez' Nguyen
Zach 'Mookiez' Yun
Brendon 'Kreamz' Vu
Andrew 'miesty`' Miller
Jeffrey 'KingPlato' Yi
Travis 'ggslayer' LeungThe first showing with the new tag is right now, as they pushed their first round match of the new Diamond Division cycle against QsQ777 forward, due to scheduling issues with the early time slot on Saturday.
