Trademark eSports wins DreamHoN Winter 2012!

Trademark eSports battled their way to a 2-0 victory against compLexity Gaming in the grand finals at the DreamArena Extreme and are crowned DreamHoN Winter 2012. champions!

The first game of the series was played at the absolutely amazing HoN booth in the players area of the venue due to scheduling conflicts with the availability of DreamArena Extreme. compLexity struggled in the early game to deal with zai and his famed suicide lane Wildsoul and often required one or two additional heroes to come to the lane and help out. This in turn provided NoobG as Silhouette on the bottom lane to with freedom to not only pressure, but repeatedly kill Moonmeander's Tempest and have freefarm. Both teams seemed content with playing a farming game so we only saw 15 kills after 50 minutes of game time. Soon after that Trademark decided they have all the items needed to do a final push and successfully did so as Haxxeren's Tremble was no match for a fully geared Silhouette.

After the teams and casters moved over to DreamArena Extreme and the second match started, we saw much of the same in the early stages of the game. Trademark eSports was relentless in their play and won all three lanes, as well as Mynuts on Keeper of the Forest having a somewhat better farm and impact on the game than the favored Chessie on Ophelia did. bkid on Succubus recovered from his bad start and picked himself up a relatively early portal key with which he started to gank and managed to get his team back into the game. After a few tower exchanges, compLexity started focusing on getting Haxxeren's Dark Lady some much needed farm, but Trademark smartly countered via constant push attempts at the bottom lane. compLexity managed to fend off two of those with excellent teamfight execution to once again get on an equal footing. Defensive item pickups, namely Stormspirit, Shrunken Head and Void Talisman, proved to be crucial for Trademark eSports as their opponents found themselves unable to focus down any one hero. Trademark kept on ruthlessly attacking the enemy base and by the 40 minute mark they were able to destroy two sets of barracks. compLexity attempted a desperate push in the middle lane, which was easily dealt with and the celebration could begin!
