Tt eSports claims It's Gosu October title!

Earlier this month, in the shadow of DreamHack Winter related tournaments, eight teams that qualified for the It's Gosu October Invitational via two open qualifiers that ran during the months of August and September battled it out for a prize pool of $1,200.

The eight qualified teams were Complexity, GaryJohnson2012, Trademark eSports, Pikachu, Lions, BlackSheep, Druidz and Tt eSports. In the end, however, only one could be the victor - this time round it was the Australian/American mix of Tt eSports.

The nature of an invitational tournament meant there were no walk-over matches to be played, but looking objectively, they were handed the easier part of the bracket. In order to reach the finals they had to overcome Druidz and Lions, respectively, before duking it out against the newly-formed (at that time) GaryJohnson2012, who in the earlier rounds beat Complexity and dropped a single game to Pikachu.

Once there, Tt eSports overcame the rivals for all the marbles with a 2-1 result and claimed the $750 prize pool. In the battle for the third place, Lions handily beat Druidz 2-0.
