Destination: Tt eSports and QsQ357 with good start

Today was the official start of the DreamHon Destination tournament group stage, the last chance for teams from the international client to get to Jönköping, Sweden. All 16 teams played today to get into a favorable spot right from the get-go.

Group A might be a little bit more competitive with Tt eSports and QsQ357 as successful competitors from the other DreamHon tournaments this summer. Both teams have a good record in the tournament series with playoff appearences for both teams, twice. Now they have to compete with TheReturners, PienetPelit, CallItKarma, FyKu, TeamKierk and Gary Johnson 2012 for one of the top three places in the group. Both teams looked sharp in their first matches and so QsQ357 and Tt eSports walked away with a 2-0 victory. Following them is PienetPelit, who defeated C1K with 2-0, and GaryJohnson2012, who managed to edge out FyKu with 2-1.

Tomorrow will be the next mission for the third and fourth place finishers from DreamHon Redemption as their quest continues. Tt eSports will face the European team CallItKarma, while QsQ357 will go against fellow undefeated team GaryJohnson2012. FyKu will seek for better results against PienetPelit and TeamKierk and TheReturners will battle it out to prevent themselves from two consecutive losses.

In Group B the Scandinavian teams are dominating after week one. With Pikachu, Lions eSports, Druidz and BunderDown winning their first matches, the North Europeans are reigning above their competition. The most ironic result came when Lions squared off with the underdogs from DenmarkOwnsSweden - resulting in Sweden owning them. The next playday will be tomorrow, when the two winless teams zhiT and DenmarkOwnsSweden will clash. Pikachu will face Druidz eSports, Lions will take on WILL SMITH and BunkerDown is going up against Black Sheep.
