Group C was the most intense group, with several scenarios and all teams still in the mix. Still only two teams could advance in the end and those two teams are Pikachu and Dendi's Jungldevo, who clinched that spot over Panny Listed. PL needed a 2-0 victory over Pikachu in their head-to-head matchup for this group to go into a three-way tie, but after the second map spelled the equalizer in the series, their dream of advancing got crushed. At that time the forfeit of saishii against PUDG went public and therefore Panny Listed was officially out of the tournament - finishing third, but atleast clinching the victory over Pikachu in their final match.

In Group D another walkover happened with iLight deciding to forfeit against sure Group Champion Tt eSports, who therefore recorded the perfect group stage without dropping a single map against tough competitors like Orange eSports and their OSC rival Vitriolic. The second and most anticipated match of this group between Vitriolic and ORGE actually got postponed and will happen on Saturday, the last day before the playoffs officially start. The winner of that match will take place two in the groups and will still have a fighting chance for the price money and the travel stipend.
