Sponsored by Pokerstrategy.com, it is a 32 player single elimination tournament. Number of rounds played during each match is yet to be decided, but the Grand Final match will be a best of 7. The races are 1 Random, 11 Terran, 11 Protoss and 9 Zerg players, to make 32.
With the three seed players on top of the list, a few arguments have been cycling about which players get the next spots. Mainly between the TeamLiquid Open winners and the Korean invite players. They came up with a system that takes these players and mixes them up, giving a promising match line up.
