Andrew "mOOn-GLaDe" Pender moved on to the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship semi final after a nerve wrecking best-of-five Zerg versus Zerg match against Stefan "MorroW" Andersson.
- "I'm so happy right now, I'm very glad I manage to reach the semi finals," said Pender just after the game. He added, "I just played really well and I'm very happy."
While he agreed on being the underdog going in to the tournament, he says that he came in well-prepared. The Australian Zerg has been in South Korea for over a month, practicing immensely. While still being able to play on the Korean ladder while home in Australia, being in Korea allows him to play without lag.
The only non-Korean left in the tournament will in the semi final go up against Jung Woo "Ace" Seo.
- "I think I can definitely do well against him, if I play like I do, I'll have a chance."
