After StarCraft 2, and the according SC2CL (StarCraft2 Clan League), came out, the BWCL was not only reduced drasticly in terms of the amount of teams, but also in the games played in each clanwar, to suit the teams which are struggling to get enough BroodWar players on the game each sunday to play a clanwar.
So after reducing the divisions to only two divisions, containing a total of 22 teams, the gamemode was also changed from four one on one's and two two on two's, to only two one on one's and just a single two on two.
After this change the new season started with all those teams which signed up, which were sadly only twentytwo teams, bringing the league from a total of four divisions, containing ten groups, to a minimum of two divisions, each with one group and eleven teams only.

* - Dropouts.
- Team advances to next division.
- Team drops down one division.Note: Not all the matches are yet reported in the second division, which could still change the third rank, and hence the third advancer.
For those who wonder, in the first division sas beat Noobs in their clanwar, which is why they are rewarded the first rank, even though an equal amount of points exists inbetween those teams.
The same goes for division two, where Gamers Never Stop Team A beat ArtykGaming in their encounter.
