While the Swedish Terran Jeffrey "SjoW" Brusi crashed out early in the DremaHack SteelSeries LAN-tournament, he had more success in the overshadowed ESL Pro Series Nordic final.
Defeating Fredrik "MaDFroG" Johansson 2-0 in the grand final, SjoW could go home with €2,000 and the title as the best players in the Nordic countries.
SjoW could take the first game on Jungle Basin, with his Blue Flame Hellions crippling MaDFroG early in the game. After bulking up, taking the pocket expansion and teching up to thors and siege tanks, it was just for SjoW to walz in and eliminate the Zerg player.
In the second game, on Metalopolis, MaDFroG gave a little more fight to SjoW, but the Swedish Terran was fairly unthreatened throughout the game. MaDFroG's roaches was able to fend off the first Blue Flame Hellion M&M wave, only to then transition into mutalisks and banelings.
SjoW added some more barracks to pump out tons of marines and marauders backed up a set of siege tanks and medivacs, could hold off the mutalisk harass attempts, and then defend well to MaDFroG's all-in attack at the bottom expansion of SjoW. The rest was, like game one, a walz-in.
Marcus "Thorzain" Eklöf made sure all three winner's stand positions stayed in the homefield, defeating the DreamHack champion Santeri "Naama" Lahtinen.
