GOMTV StarCraft 2 Open: ret, SEn, IdrA qualify for Round of 64

Jos "ret" de Kroon, Yang Chia "SEn" Cheng and Greg "IdrA" Fields pulled through to the Round of 64 in the upcoming GOMTV StarCraft 2 Open.

In total, five "foreigners" have qualified for the main round of the event, with the two Swedes Hayder "HayprO" Hussein and Jonathan "JinrO" Walsh qualifying yesterday.

Chinese duo Ye "Luffy" Hao and Dai "Loner" Yi, playing for World Elite, both failed to qualify today. The BlizzCon 2010 runner-up and GOMTV StarCraft 2 Open season 2 Round of 16 finalist Loner lost in the semi final against unknown Terran player Racheu (라츠).

Canadian Chris "HuK" Loranger lost to Song Yeong "Aya" Min in the final group match by a tight 1-2 score. Along with Jonathan "KiWiKaKi" Garneau, Dan "Artosis" Stemkoski, and Trevor "TorcH" Housten, he makes the list of foreigners failing to qualify.

First and second season champions Kim "FruitDealer" Won Gi and Lim "NesTea" Jae Duk made sure to qualify today, as well as the two Boxers Lee "BoxeR" Jeong Hun and Lim "SlayerSBoxeR" Yo Hwan.

We also saw the WarCraft 3 player June "Lyn" Park move on to the main round, playing under "Bless". He qualified for the Round of 64 last season as well, but was then defeated by Ahn "CoreJJang" Jung Min.
