A lot of you guys ask yourself what computer specs you need to play your soon to be loved game StarCraft II. Well, Tom's Hardware doesn't review it exactly that way, but you can see some of the high-end graphic cards tested by them.
For example there is a small difference between GeForce and Radeon graphic cards in general. If you have a Radeon graphics card the glows seem a little brighter, so having a SCV mining, the light that appears while mining with his Fusion Cutter just seems a little more brilliant with a Radeon graphics card than with a GeForce one.
A probably suprising fact in all of this is that StarCraft II actually relies more on CPU speed than the number of cores you need.
So the faster your CPU speed is, the better it is for the game itself and you'll get more frames per second out of it.
If you are into benchmarks and reviews like that, you'll probably like what Tom's Hardware did here. And of course if you are thinking about upgrading your PC for SC2, then here is your chance reading a good analysis that tells you what you could buy when it comes to CPU and Graphics.
