XlorD finds WarCraft 3 too boring: 'I won't miss it'

- I won't miss WarCraft 3, because it's too boring already and I'm becoming sad when playing it, says XlorD.

Although he continues to play WarCraft 3, having gone 2-2 in the German ESL Pro Series, he is sure that the WarCraft 3 era will be over soon.

He has been playing up to 300 games on the StarCraft 2 ladder, and he picked Protoss from the beginning, as he thought it was the Orc equivalent.

- But I was wrong as always, Terran is the Orc of SC2, hehe. But I hope it will be more balanced soon. Also both other races are pretty nice, and nice to play, says XlorD.

The transition to StarCraft 2 was easier than he expected. Unlike many other WarCraft 3 players, XlorD did not play StarCraft 1 at all.

- I think it's easier for the former RTS player, he already knows how the game runs and he's fast in micro and macro, believes XlorD.

Thus, XlorD believes that former progamers will have an easier time coming in to the game.

- I can use hotkeys much faster than no former professional players, and also I have better macro and micro I think. But there are also going to be “new” pro-gamers, he says.

XlorD do miss aspects from WarCraft 3, such as the intense micro management.

- It was easier than I expected, but I miss the micro in the big fights. You only move your whole units forward or backward. But you need much more macro than micro, if you don't have a good macro you'll lose even if you've more resources, says XlorD.
