Finally, the EMS final

The destination has been reached, the ESL Major Series season V Dota final is within reach. Repeating their success from last year, Meet Your Makers have fought all the way to the final once again (last year they were known as Ravens). But throughout the season there have been far too many teams in trouble.

TFT dropped, Fnatic dropped, AzN dropped, unique dropped, nfinity dropped, EG dropped. And then during the playoffs, Tt and dmZ dropped too. Blight.usa/SWM seemed to be out of it aswell, but they returned just in time to save the day from disbanding. Pandemic reached semi finals, but then disbanded. Mainline, out of the blue, grabbed their semi final place.

Meet Your Makers and Blight.usa both participated in group A, were Blight.usa won all their matches, included the one with MYM, thus winning the group. By doing this they qualified straight to the quarter final where they won over the Swedish team DIPS. In the semis, they beat Planet-X, the winner of group B.
Since MYM ended up second in their group, they had to battle the polish team Fountain Dive in a match deciding who would face Tribal.int in the quarter. MYM won over both teams, even though technically Ducky's Dream Team played versus Tribal under MYM's tag. And just a few days ago MYM played the semi final, winning over Mainline Gaming. PlaymatE once again plays under the MYM-tag, and he showed Mainline the wrath of the Storm Spirit. Basically, the new MYM consists of all old MYM-players with the addition of Lacoste.

During this weekend, this season of EMS ends. Planet-X and Mainline will reach havoc during the match for the 3rd place. Nothing less will happen in the final itself; Meet Your Makers versus Sean Winkler Memorial. GosuBets are available for both these games, although the times aren't confirmed yet but will be so in short.

Prizes for ESL Major Series season V:
1st - €500
2nd - €300
3rd - €200

Madmortigan will provide with livestream and shoutcast, which can be found following this link.

Good luck to all the teams involved, and let’s hope there'll be no last minute disband.
