MPL Cambodia Season 9 Qualifier is an online and offline tournament organized by Moonton and ED Entertainment. This competition features 192 teams, and follows a Single-Elimination Qualifier, Group Stage, and Single-Elimination Playoffs structure. The tournament will begin with an Open Qualifier, where all registered teams compete in a single-elimination format. Rounds 1 and 2 are played as Best-of-One (Bo1), while Rounds 3 and 4 are played as Best-of-Three (Bo3). The top 12 teams from the qualifier will advance to the Group Stage. In the Group Stage, 16 teams will compete (12 from the qualifier, the 7th and 8th place teams from MPL Cambodia Season 8, and the top 2 teams from MLBB Rising Open Season 2). Teams are divided into 4 groups of 4 and play a single round-robin. All matches are Best-of-Two (Bo2). The top 2 teams from each group advance to the Playoffs. The Playoffs feature 8 teams in a single-elimination bracket. The semifinals are Best-of-Three (Bo3), while the Grand Final is Best-of-Five (Bo5). The top 2 teams will qualify for MPL Cambodia Season 9.
