The League of Legends World Championship 2026 (also known as LoL Worlds 2026 or just Worlds 2026) is the crowning event of League of Legends esports for the year. The tournament includes 19 teams from all regions of the game in a months-long race for the Summoner's Cup. The tournaments begins with the Play-in stage where the winner of a Bo5 match qualifies into the next stage. The second stage is the Swiss Stage where 16 teams competes in a 5-round Swiss format where teams that reach 3 wins get to advance to the Knockout Stage while teams with 3 match losses will be eliminated. Play-in will be played in Riot Games Arena and Swiss stage will be played in Credit Union of Texas Event Center Remaining 8 teams proceeds to the Knockout Stage where they play in a Single Elimination bracket. All matches throughout are Best of 5 and will be using Fearless Draft. Playoffs stage will be played in Barclays Center, New York City, USA.
