After SK Gaming's loss today, Alliance secure sole custody of the first place spot in the European LCS.

They day kicked off with the region's two leading teams SK Gaming vs. Alliance. SK Gaming made the mistake of blowing far too many summoner spells in an attempt for a level one kill which ended up setting them behind. Alliance capitalized on this and played very cohesively, acquiring two towers to 0 and an 8-5 kill lead by the 15 minute mark.
Alliance had full jungle control. Though the game took awhile to close out, Alliance were able to do so and take the first place spot into sole custody.
Second, it was Millenium vs. Fnatic. Millenium started off with strong initiative by taking the opportunity to counter jungle. The game was relatively even, but baron was in Fnatic's hands, and this acquired twice. After the second baron, Millenium could only hope to stall and wait for a mistake that never happened, thus, Fnatic took the game.
Copenhagen Wolves vs. ROCCAT was quite back and forth. Both teams had trouble closing out the game, which was apparent by the long duration despite Copenhagen Wolves being so far ahead for the majority outside of the very beginning. ROCCAT did a solid job by stalling, but playing to not lose is very different from playing to win, and Copenhagen Wolves showcased that as they took the game out of ROCCAT's hands.
The final game of EU Week 2 was Gambit Gaming facing off against Supa Hot Crew. Edward yet again went with his widely used this split Gragas pick. Supa Hot Crew took the aggressive initiative by invading onto Gambit Gaming, and continued to keep that momentum.
Gambit Gaming put a fight against Supa Hot Crew, but were easily punished for their mistakes heavily at the hands of Supa Hot Crew, where the aforementioned was able to get away with a lot of risky plays. Due to this, Supa Hot Crew were able to close out the game against the Russian squad.
