Team Coast's coach, Elementz, announced on Twitter that Coast is looking for members to form a secondary team, for which he will play support.
Team Coast has been performing well in the North American Challenger League this first week, pulling a 3-0 record so far. It appears they are seeking to up their game even further in hopes of returning to the LCS by following the Korean model and sponsoring a secondary team. Elementz, former support for both CLG and Curse Gaming and current coach for Team Coast, provided a contact email for any Diamond 1 players interested in joining a secondary roster. The announcement can be found on the Team Coast Facebook page as well.
Elementz also revealed that he will be playing support for the secondary team, which means that only four spots remain open for tryouts. If Coast's recruitment is successful, they will form the second new sister team for North America post season three, joining Curse's LoLPro. It seems the North American Challenger League is spurring North American teams to increase the level of competition for the next season of LCS, which can only be healthy for the region as a whole going into Season Four.
