With release just weeks away and a number of large tournaments approaching, here's how the top Heroes teams stack up against each other.
Team Liquid's Zotac Weekly #10 victory was enough to push them over the edge and overtake cloud 9 Maelstrom as the number #1 ranked team in the world. Their hero diversity and unexpected strategies seem right at home in this meta, as no matter the match up, the draft seems to always go Team Liquids way.
Ban Kael'Thas? They were going to run Illidan + Abathur anyway. Maybe next time you can ban Illidan and cripple their composition. Nah, Team Liquid picks Kael'Thas. I interviewed Team Liquid once before, and they made their strategy clear even then: Sometimes they are defensive, sometimes they are offensive, and they are always flexible and "un-counterable" during the draft phase.

Known Rivals: Cloud 9 Maelstrom, Tempo Storm
Cloud 9 Maelstrom is now on a 16 match winning streak, however have fallen in their rankings all the same. They haven't been as active as other teams this month, but this is easily explained due to a lack of NA events when compared to EU ones. I predict this 2nd place position may be short lived. When Cloud 9 Maelstrom faces Tempo Storm in the WCA 2015 qualifier finals this weekend, their victory might very well put them back on top of the rankings.
And when they do face Tempo Storm, watch for Cloud 9 making inherently powerful heroes seem even more powerful than you expected. I predict dominating Kael'thas and Jaina play that takes advantage of Cloud 9 Maelstrom's incredible ability to position them selves every fight.

Team to watch for:
Natus Vincere was one of the first couple teams to qualify for Enter the Storm Cup #2 and have been very active this month of May. While their performance is not as consistent as the top 3 teams, their have been on the steady climb upwards for the past 2 months, reaching climbing from the #10 spot to #7 just this week.
Their performance at Enter the Storm Cup #2 will be a huge proving point for the team, and while I don't quite think they are coming into the tournament an underdog, they still have the potential to be under-the-radar enough to catch the favored teams like Team Liquid off guard.
