It would be quite a natural choice to pick North America yet again, since 2001, 2002 and 2003 were held in Asia, 2004 in North America, 2005 in Asia again and now 2006 in Europe. But as sTrAtO writes in the TeamLiquid forum, "the WCG 2007 host city will be picked 1 month before Italy" which is kind of accurate just as this year. However, it is highly possible that Montreal will be one of the possible candidates for host cities.

A translation of the article follows.
The city has recieved the status of candidate host for the 2007 games.
According to the organisers of the ARCADIA Festival (which Montreal already plays host to), more than 700 players from 67 countries will take part in the games.
The economic benefits of the games have been estimated to be around $10 million (CAD) by Tourism Montreal.
