Bari defeated poker pro and Amazing Race contestant Mario Ho heads-up who settled for $540k in her biggest cash to date. Bari quickly called Ho's pre-flop all-in with 8's that beat Ho's A,4 suited that couldn't improve.

Allen Bari graduated from Rutgers University with a double major in Economics and Finance. He worked in Finance in Manhattan before turning to poker full time in 2007. Two interesting elements were that Bari is backed by Jason Mercier and had been several hundred thousand dollars in makeup. No longer. Secondly, Bari earned a $20,000 bonus as a result of a prop bet he won with Shaun Deeb on who would win a bracelet first.
