What can players expect from Palworld 1.0?

Pocketpair has described Palworld 1.0 as its "biggest update yet", bringing a wealth of new content, features, and improvements when it launches next month.

The studio revealed via its roadmap back in 2025 its plans to bring Palworld out of Early Access some time in 2026. Today's Summer Game Fest has finally marked a release date on the highly-anticipated update, as it schedules the launch for a month from now.

One of the headline additions is the long-awaited World Tree, which has appeared in the game's world since launch but remained inaccessible. With Version 1.0, players will finally be able to explore the mysterious location. The World Tree was also featured in the cinematic trailer.

As previously confirmed by developers, the 1.0 update will not require you to restart your progress as it will carry over saved data over on the full launch version. The major update have been teased to include new Pals–some already briefly shown–and expanded story content.

While Pocketpair has yet to reveal the full details of the update, more information is expected in the coming weeks as the 10 July release date draws closer. So Pal Tamers, better start farming your currencies and upgrade your arsenal for the major update.
