Among Us is getting both a TV show and a single-player spin-off.
Game developer Innersloth is officially making a single-player spin-off Among Us video game. During Summer Game Fest 2026, the developer announced Among Us Story: On Guard, an upcoming video game set in the Among Us universe with a focused story campaign.
Additionally, an animated series based on Among Us has also been released today on Paramount+.

What is Among Us Story: On Guard?
For those who are looking for further insight into Among Us’ deadly world, we have some good news for you. Game developer Innersloth is officially making a new Among Us game, this time focused on featuring a single-player campaign as opposed to having multiplayer elements.
Here is Innersloth’s description of the game:
“A new standalone game from Innersloth, set in the Among Us universe. Live life as a Crewmate in this dangerous narrative adventure through space. As Guard, you're in charge of shipwide security and everything is fine. Until there's a MURDER?! Prove your innocence before the Impostor gets to the rest of the crew... and you.”
The game is now available for wishlisting on Steam. A playable demo for the game will also launch on 15 June, 2026.
How to watch Among Us animated TV show
Another special surprise awaits Among Us fans: the previously-revealed animated Among Us TV show adaptation has officially been released on Paramount+. Subscribers can check out all 10 of the series’ Season 1 episodes on the streaming service now.
The series stars Yvette Nicole Brown, Kimiko Glenn, Liv Hewson, Ashley Johnson, Wayne Knight, Phil LaMarr, Randall Park, Dan Stevens, Debra Wilson, Elijah Wood, and Patton Oswalt.
Animation studio Titmouse (Star Trek: Lower Decks) is producing the series, with Owen Dennis (Infinity Train) onboard as creator.
