Paralives launches crossover collabs with Among Us, Outbound, Dwarf Fortress, and more

These collabs allow players to even play the game within Paralives.

There’s a new life sim shaking up the cosy game space, and it's called Paralives. The newly-released Early Access title has already sold 250,000 copies in just eight hours, giving the indie life simulator a massive opening day milestone.

But the launch celebrations do not stop there. Paralives is also rolling out a string of crossover collaborations with several indie games, bringing themed cosmetics, decorations, and even playable versions of those titles directly into the game itself.

Paralives

Release date: 25 May, 2026 (early access)

Platforms: PC, Mac (via Steam)

Developer: Paralives Studio

Everything in the Among Us x Paralives collab: Costumes, plushies, and a playable minigame

The first crossover on the list is probably the least cosy of the bunch, but definitely one of the most recognisable. Paralives is teaming up with Among Us, letting players fill their homes with crewmate-themed decorations, including plushies, figurines, posters, and exclusive stamps.

Players can also dress up in silly Among Us-inspired costumes. The standout feature, however, is the fact that players can actually play Among Us inside Paralives through the in-game computer placed in their homes.

Everything in the Outbound x Paralives collab

Paralives is also collaborating with Outbound, another cosy title that launched earlier this month. The crossover brings Outbound’s laid-back road trip aesthetic into Paralives, complete with the game’s iconic mini-camper van.

Players can decorate their homes with the camper, and even scale it up into a life-sized version to make it look like the van has been parked straight into their garage. Just like the Among Us crossover, players can also launch and play Outbound from within Paralives itself.

Everything in the House Flipper 2 x Paralives collab

Paralives is also teaming up with House Flipper 2, adding another home design-focused crossover into the life sim sandbox. The announcement did not reveal exactly what is included in the collaboration bundle, but the crossover is already live and available in-game.

Everything in the Dwarf Fortress and Boyfriend Dungeon x Paralives collab

Kitfox Games also teamed up with Alex Massé and the Paralives Studio team to bring both Dwarf Fortress and Boyfriend Dungeon into Paralives.

The crossover includes a range of themed accessories and decorations inspired by both games, including body pillows, alongside exclusive stamps that players can collect through in-game mail. Keeping the crossover streak going, players can also play both Dwarf Fortress and Boyfriend Dungeon directly inside Paralives.

Paralives is setting a fast pace for itself in Early Access, with crossovers already becoming a major part of its identity. The devs have also made clear that they know what direction they're taking, sharing the game's Early Access Roadmap at launch. This seems to be good news for its players, because clearly there's more content to look forward to in the future.

Paralives is available for US$39.99 on PC and Mac via Steam.
