Snoop Dogg shares more about Stranger than Heaven at Summer Game Fest
Speaking during the reveal, Snoop Dogg said he was excited to be involved with the project after years of playing RGG Studio's games. "I have been a fan of this game and I've been playing this game since it came out. To be associated with such a great game and such an amazing person (referring to Yokoyama) and great team is such a great feat for me."
He also explained why bringing Tupac into the game was important to him. Tupac Shakur, one of the most influential rappers of all time, was killed in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas in 1996 at the age of 25.
"The Tupac estate and my son, we've worked closely together, so it just made sense to put it in this game so his life and his spirit still lives on. I just feel like he's connected to what we're doing."
The reveal adds another unexpected name to Stranger Than Heaven's growing cast and continues to build intrigue around the game ahead of its 2027 launch. With a mix of musicians, celebrities and original characters already confirmed, Sega and RGG Studio appear keen to make the title one of their most talked-about releases in the coming year.
