Games like Hades, Stardew Valley, Grounded, Fable, Overcooked, and more are included in the Game Pass subscription.
Xbox and Discord are expanding their partnership, with Discord officially announcing that Xbox Game Pass will now be included as part of Discord Nitro, through a new benefits programme called Nitro Rewards.
Announced on Discord’s official website on 11 May 2026 as part of Nitro’s 10-year anniversary celebrations, the update pushes Nitro beyond custom profiles, HD streaming, and chat perks, expanding the subscription into gaming services, hardware discounts, and platform rewards.
“As we hit Nitro’s 10-year anniversary, we're launching Nitro Rewards, a brand-new benefits program built with some of the biggest names in gaming,” Lu Zhang, Senior Director of Product at Discord said in the statement.
He added that Nitro Rewards gives members “access to gaming services and gear that matter most to players”, with partnerships extending “beyond Discord and into how you play”.
He also confirmed that Xbox Game Pass headlines the first wave of Nitro Rewards benefits. “Your Nitro membership is still the same price, and Game Pass is now part of it,” Zhang said. Rather than presenting the feature as a limited-time bonus, Discord positioned the Xbox partnership as part of a broader effort to turn Nitro into a gaming-focused membership built around the wider gaming ecosystem.
Xbox Game Pass is now included with Discord Nitro
Nitro members now receive access to a starter edition of Xbox Game Pass, featuring a library of more than 50 PC and console games. According to Discord, the package also includes 10 hours of cloud gaming, allowing players to stream supported titles across multiple devices. Discord described the addition as one of the “best benefits” included in Nitro Rewards, saying Game Pass “changes how you try games” by removing the friction of purchasing games players may only touch briefly, before leaving them in their backlog.
What games are included in Discord Nitro’s Xbox Game Pass subscription?
Discord’s included Xbox Game Pass starter catalogue features more than 50 PC and console games. Some of the most notable titles currently available include Stardew Valley, Hades, Grounded, Fable, Fallout 4, Fallout 76, DayZ, and Cities: Skylines, alongside Dishonored 2, Gears of War 5, and DOOM Eternal. The package appears to align with the small-scale catalogue currently available to Xbox Game Pass Essential members.
The Discord partnership also arrives amid broader Xbox Game Pass changes previously announced by Xbox CEO Asha Sharma, including immediate price cuts for both Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, alongside the removal of day-one Call of Duty launches from the subscription service. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate was reduced from US$29.99 to US$22.99 per month, while PC Game Pass dropped from US$16.49 to US$13.99.
Logitech G, SteelSeries, and KontrolFreek discounts added to Nitro Rewards
Xbox Game Pass is only one part of the Nitro Rewards rollout. Discord also announced new gaming hardware discounts through partnerships with Logitech G, SteelSeries, and KontrolFreek. Nitro members can access up to 30% off Logitech G products, 15% off SteelSeries gear, and 20% off KontrolFreek accessories.
The discounts apply across gaming peripherals including keyboards, mice, headsets, and controller accessories, with Discord saying additional offers and partners will rotate into the programme over time. “We want to keep the bar high for what we include,” Discord said. “Every partner in this program is here because they offer something that people who play games would naturally want.”
Discord Nitro members now get more Orbs every month
Alongside Nitro Rewards, Discord are also expanding Orb rewards for Nitro subscribers. Members will now automatically receive 250 Orbs every month for maintaining an active Nitro subscription. Discord is also introducing an Orbs Multiplier, increasing the amount earned through Quests. The additional rewards can be used in Discord’s Shop, which includes profile cosmetics and other digital items tied to the platform’s customisation system.
Discord said Nitro Rewards will roll out to eligible Nitro members over the coming weeks through the Nitro Home section, with additional gaming partnerships and rotating offers planned for future updates. The company also noted that more titles will continue to be added to the included Xbox Game Pass catalogue over time.
