Rebel Wolves’ debut title is almost here.
Rebel Wolves, a studio made up of ex-Witcher 3: Wild Hunt developers, hosted a stream this week to reveal new details for its upcoming action-RPG The Blood of Dawnwalker. The studio confirmed a 3 September, 2026 release date, and additionally rolled out system requirements and new trailers for the game.

When is Blood of Dawnwalker coming out?
The upcoming vampire RPG The Blood of Dawnwalker is now available for pre-orders on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, ahead of its 3 September, 2026 launch date. Over 10 minutes of gameplay for the title was also shown off during Rebel Wolves’ “Road to Launch” livestream this week, which revealed new details from the game.
The Blood of Dawnwalker follows a young man named Coen, who becomes a half-vampire and attempts to save his family from the clutches of the vampire lord Brancis. Brancis and his fellow vampires have seized control of his homeland, Vale Sangora, and thus Coen sets out to free his family and defeat the vampires imprisoning them.
The new gameplay footage largely focuses on the game’s open-world exploration, as Rebel Wolves affirms that players will be given plenty of agency to wander off the beaten path and discover unexpected secrets and challenges. The player’s actions will have consequences on the main story, including the decisions they make in the open world.
A new story trailer was also released, focusing on the cast of characters whom protagonist Coen will rub shoulders with throughout his journey. Some of them will be allies, while others will be enemies, scattered across the game’s setting of Vale Sangora. One of these characters, a vampire named Bakir, even saw motion capture performance contributions from former UFC champion Jan Blachowicz.

Rebel Wolves also confirmed official PC system requirements for The Blood of Dawnwalker, allowing players to see what they need to run the game at minimum, recommended or ultra specifications. Here are the system requirements:
