Untitled John Wick game is now in development, Keanu Reeves is involved

A PlayStation Blog post has revealed more information on the upcoming John Wick video game, which is described as a “John Wick AAA game.” Developer Saber is working on the game, which still lacks a title and release date, in collaboration with John Wick actor Keanu Reeves, movie studio Lionsgate, and franchise director Chad Stahelski.

The game is said to take place “during a specific period within the John Wick timeline,” which appears to be closer to the setting of the first film, given Wick’s youthful complexion. It’s also set to feature “well-known and iconic characters, as well as compelling new characters specifically created for this production.”

The game will also weave in John Wick’s signature gun-fu combat into gameplay, along with “intense driving experiences,” which the movies are certainly full of. Reeves also appears to be returning to voice the titular role, with his voice being heard in Wick’s one and only line in the trailer: “Yeah.”

The Untitled John Wick Game has no release date yet.
