Overwatch x Hello Kitty collaboration to bring six Sanrio-themed skins next week

Overwatch is welcoming Hello Kitty and her Sanrio friends, as part of a major game overhaul.

It’s a huge day for Overwatch fans as Blizzard revealed a host of groundbreaking changes during the Overwatch Spotlight 2026, including an adorable collaboration that will see Hello Kitty and other beloved Sanrio characters arrive in the game. The crossover will launch on 10 February alongside the game’s most substantial update to date.

Overwatch x Hello Kitty Legendary skins

The Hello Kitty collaboration will feature six Sanrio-themed Legendary skins for a lineup of popular Overwatch heroes, including Juno, Kiriko, and Mercy. While some collaborations completely transform a hero’s appearance, this crossover instead focuses on delivering adorable themed outfits.

Here are the hero-character pairings for the Overwatch x Hello Kitty collaboration:

  • Juno–Hello Kitty
  • Kiriko–Cinnamoroll
  • Mercy–Pompompurin
  • D.Va–My Melody
  • Widowmaker–Kuromi
  • Lucio–Keroppi

The Hello Kitty collection will be available in Overwatch until 23 February. Alongside the skins, players can expect a range of themed accessories, including Hello Kitty-inspired emotes, voice lines, and icons. More details will be shared closer to the collaboration’s release.

This crossover is just one of many updates revealed during Overwatch Spotlight 2026. In addition to a major title change–with the sequel dropping the ‘2’–Overwatch is effectively resetting to Season 1, with long unseen cinematic releases, a refreshed UI, and five brand-new heroes launching together. Blizzard has also promised a faster cadence for hero releases, with a new hero arriving each season–totalling up to 10 new heroes across this year.

Overwatch is no stranger to high-profile collaborations, having previously crossed over with Street Fighter, Persona 5, Gundam, and K-pop group LE SSERAFIM. Most recently, leaks have teased an exciting collaboration with Fortnite, rumoured to come this very month.
