Amazon’s Fallout game adaptation returns later this year.
Amazon Prime Video has dropped a poster for Fallout Season 2, ahead of its December 2025 release date. The poster features the series’ protagonists, including the Ghoul, Lucy, and Maximus, walking through a desert with the city of New Vegas as their backdrop. The setting of New Vegas returns from Obsidian Entertainment’s Fallout: New Vegas, which appears to be a key source of inspiration for this season.
First look at Fallout Season 2 unveiled
Fallout’s main cast, including the likes of Lucy (Ella Purnell), the Ghoul (Walton Goggins), Maximus (Aaron Moten), and Dogmeat are returning for Season 2 of the Amazon Prime Video series. A first look at the upcoming season has confirmed its setting: New Vegas, a city built from the remains of fallen Las Vegas in the Mojave Desert.
The city was borne from Obsidian Entertainment’s beloved action-RPG Fallout: New Vegas, which follows a courier who gets attacked while attempting to deliver a device called the Platinum Chip to New Vegas. One of the game’s key characters, Mr. House, was even teased in the series’ first season.
Fallout Season 2 is set to premiere sometime in December 2025, which makes a surprisingly quick turnaround time for a TV series of this calibre. Season 1 made its debut in April 2024, and ended with Lucy learning the truth about her father, and heading towards New Vegas to find him with the Ghoul in tow.
More information on Fallout Season 2 is set to be revealed during next week's Gamescom Opening Night Live presentation, which kicks off on 19 August, 2025.
