Battlefield 6’s second open beta adds more game mode variety for players via adjusted playlists. For example, the beta’s All-Out Warfare now includes even more modes: Rush, Conquest, and Breakthrough. The second Battlefield 6 open beta weekend will also feature a new map: Empire State. This map is set in Brooklyn, New York, and is an Infantry-only map that spans rooftops and alleys. The beta weekend will also add two modes, including the arm and defuse mode Rush, and the team deathmatch mode Squad Deathmatch.

Three new challenges will also be included this weekend:

  • Challenge: Capture 42 flags in Conquest, Domination or King of the Hill. Reward: War Machine Vehicle Skin
  • Challenge: Get 200 kills or assists. Reward: Bat Company Dog Tag
  • Challenge: Capture 10 sectors in Breakthrough or Rush. Reward: Dominion Weapon Package

Battlefield 6 introduces Custom Search

After players clamoured for a server browser in Battlefield 6’s first open beta weekend, they’re getting the next best thing this weekend. Battlefield Studios is adding a Custom Search feature, which allows players to find matches with their favoured combination of maps and modes. The mode will be available for Only Weapon mode playlists.

Training Grounds, on the other hand, will continue to be available with the Firing Range, and tutorials for classes and various modes. Initiation Mode will be available at Rank 15 or below with AI soldiers.

Battlefield 6 launches on 10 October, 2025.
