Umamusume: Pretty Derby August 2025 release schedule

Narita Taishin Trainee, Yaeno Muteki SSR Support Card: 3–13 August

First up for August will be new banners for Narita Taishin and the Yaeno Muteki SSR Support Card. Narita Taishin specialises as an End Closer for Medium and Long-distance races, a strong racer in her own regard while also being an excellent Legacy Umamusume for other End Closers like Gold Ship.

Meanwhile, Yaeno Muteki makes her first appearance in the game's global version through her SSR Support Card, a Power-type card that grants hints for skills geared towards Late Surgers and End Closers.

Gold Ship GW Celebration Hijack event: 7–22 August

Fan-favourite Umamusume Gold Ship will take over the game from 7-22 August through the GW Celebration Hijack event, which grants players her Star Pieces for her Star Unlock. If you haven't unlocked Gold Ship's iconic red racewear yet, then this event is for you!

Smart Falcon Trainee, Super Creek and Tazuna Hayakawa SSR Support Cards: 11–22 August

The second banner for August will then feature a new Trainee in Smart Falcon, as well as a rerun for the Super Creek and Tazuna Hayakawa SSR Support Cards. Smart Falcon specialises as a Front Runner for Mile and Medium-distance races, with her skills helping her fight for the lead in the middle of the race, and stay in front until the finish line.

Meanwhile, the Super Creek SSR Support Card is a Stamine-type card that grants hints for skills that allow your Umamusume to better outlast other racers. As for the Tazuna Hayakawa SSR Support Card, it greatly increases the efficiency of many training actions, which makes it a valuable pick if you're still hunting for that perfect Career run.

Champions Meeting–Taurus Cup: 17–27 August

Up next will be the game's first major PvP event: Champions Meeting–Taurus Cup. In this event, you will pick three of your best Umamusumes to compete against racers from other players and fight for first place to earn valuable rewards. Here are the conditions for this race: Tokyo Turf 2400m (Medium) Left in Spring with Sunny and Firm conditions.

Narita Brian Trainee, Sakura Chiyono O SSR Support Card: 20–31 August

The third banner for August will feature another member of the Narita clan: Narita Brian. She is a versatile Umamusume that can run as both a Pace Chaser and Late Surger in Medium and Long-distance races, with Mile races also in her ballpark given the right Aptitude Sparks. While Narita Brian is an excellent racer in her own regard, she can also be an excellent Legacy Umamusume for any non-Front Runners.

There's also the first appearance of Sakura Chiyono O in the game through her SSR Support Card, a Stamina-type card that grants hints for skills that boost your Umamusume's Speed in various points of a race.

Tokai Teio, Vodka, and Winning Ticket Legend Races: 21–30 August

The last leg of the game's August releases will then feature the second set of Legend Races featuring Tokai Teio, Vodka, and Winning Ticket. With the current set of Legend Races featuring Sprinters like King Halo, Taiki Shuttle, and Sakura Bakushin O, the Legend Races for August will then feature Medium-distance races. Tokai Teio will run as a Pace Chaser while Vodka and Winning Ticket are Late Surgers.

Make sure you meet the stat requirements before challenging the Legend Races. It's crucial to garner enough Stamina to maintain your Umamusume's Speed over a Medium-length course, as well as enough Speed, Power, and Guts to outlast your opponents.

Wedding Air Groove and Mayano Top Gun Trainees, Hishi Akebono and Kawakami Princess SSR Support Cards: 28 August–10 September

The last two content drops for August will be tied together, starting with two alt banners featuring the Wedding skins for Air Groove and Mayano Top Gun.

Both of the Wedding skin versions for Air Groove and Mayano Top Gun will have the same specialisations as their normal counterparts, but with different skills. Wedding Air Groove's skill will increase her velocity when overtaking another racer at the middle of the race instead of the final corner. On the other hand, Wedding Mayano Top Gun's skill will have different effects depending on her position at the final corner. If she's up front, her velocity will increase. Her acceleration will also increase if she's in the middle of the pack.

Two new characters will make their first appearance in the game through their SSR Support Cards: Hishi Akebono and Kawakami Princess, and it's their wedding-themed cards to boot. Hishi Akebono's card will be a Guts-type while Kawakami Princess' will be a Speed-type.

Racing Hearts: Beauty in Bloom: 28 August–10 September

If you want to get the Wedding alts for Air Groove and Mayano Top Gun, or you just really like those two characters enough that you want to see them put on wedding dresses while racing at full speed, then the Racing Hearts: Beauty in Bloom event will be for you.
