The worlds of Overwatch 2 and Street Fighter are colliding.
Blizzard Entertainment has officially unveiled an in-game look at the upcoming Overwatch 2 x Street Fighter 6 crossover. This crossover adds a number of cosmetics to Overwatch 2, dressing up its heroes as iconic Street Fighter characters like Chun-Li, Ryu, Juri, and more. However, unlike previous Overwatch 2 collabs, this event won’t come with a free skin.
Here’s a gameplay trailer for the crossover:
Overwatch 2 x Street Fighter collaboration fully unveiled
Blizzard Entertainment is bringing several fighters over from Street Fighter 6’s character roster to Overwatch 2. Several Overwatch 2 heroes are getting Street Fighter 6 skins, including:
- Juno as Chun-Li
- Kiriko as Juri
- Widowmaker as Cammy
- Hanzo as Ryu
- Zenyatta as Dhalsim
- Soldier: 76 as Guile
- Sigma as M.Bison
- Winston as Blanka
That makes for a hefty total of eight skins, all in all. However, it should be noted that none of these skins will be available for players to earn for free, unlike previous Overwatch 2 collaborations. If players want to pick up these skins, they’ll have to either buy them individually or pick up the Street Fighter 6 Ultra Bundle. The latter contains all eight skins.
Otherwise, the Street Fighter 6 Mega Bundle 1 features Juno’s Chun-Li skin, Hanzo’s Ryu skin, Zenyatta’s Dhalsim skin and Sigma’s M.Bison skin. The Street Fighter 6 Mega Bundle 2 contains Kiriko’s Juri skin, Widowmaker’s Cammy skin, Winston’s Blanka skin, and Soldier: 76’s Guile skin.
The Overwatch 2 x Street Fighter 6 collab event is also coming with a few limited-time challenges, allowing players to earn up to 40,000 XP along with sprays, voice lines, and a player title themed after Street Fighter. That’s the extent of free stuff you can get out of this event, I’m afraid.
The Overwatch 2 x Street Fighter 6 event runs from 20 May to 2 June, 2025.
